End of Project!

So... we've come to the end of our project, and that means the end of the blog along with it!
I just wanna say that it's been supercalifragilisticetcetera and I've had sooo much fun along with all the stress and breakdowns and insults from Ryan! I think we've all really learnt a lot from this, and also, I think it's worth mentioning that I think we should win some kind of award for all our reshoots and 'finishing' the highest number of times!! haha [I'm probably gonna change all this later btw:P] love you all lots, and I'll miss you bloggy :) Mia xx

Yes Mia summed that up so well! I can't believe its all over! It's been an incredible few months (though stressful and challenging!!!) Its amazing how much I have learnt in such a short time. Also, i couldn't have possibly enjoyed this project this much with a different group. Group dynamics were always booming!
Shoots, re-shoots, and several editing sessions...i'll miss it all! =[ Goodbyeeeeee, Bisma x

Absolutely agree with you guys. Our millions of shoots have been loads of fun and I will miss our editing sessions together! I will be taking away loads of amazing memories! I think our group in particular has learnt an amazing amount and probably won't be forgetting any of it for a very long time!!! I'll miss you guys. - Bhavika xx

THIS BLOG IS NOW CLOSED!

Coloured storyboard!

The final storyboard for the opening 'suddens'.

Storyboard (uncoloured)

Is this OK? I filled in the titles between the 'sudden' shots, as I didn't see the point of wasting panels when they all look basically the same. I shall get to work colouring them now. (Click to full-view)

Not very good quality, but I just took some stills from the YouTube version. Feel free to use them (and post your own).
I'll be deleting this post on Monday, so take them now.

FEEDBACK SUM UP

Other Interesting Information
Rating
5 people said 7/10
5 people said 8/10
9 people said 9/10

  • Improvements
Suggestions for improvements were very consistent. The one reoccuring suggestion most people made, was to sort out the noise on the camera! Of course, we know, sadly there is nothing we can do about that

  • Favourite bits
People loved the font for the credits and the foley sounds layered with the music. Many people commented that they thought the plot was original and interesting

Screening

We had our screening yesterday lunchtime and we had a really good turnout, which was great as this means more feedback to use in our evaluations. We gave a questionnaire to everyone who came and Bisma will soon put up our findings on the blog.

Our feedback seemed to be generally quite positive. Our audience was made up of 16 and 17 year olds of both genders, so we have received feedback from our target audience. More importantly we have got feedback from non-media students who will have looked at our sequence from a non-media perspective. They will not be focusing on continuity editing for instance, but will watch it as they usually would watch and enjoy a film.
